Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a leading RTX company, seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager for cryptographic systems. The role leads cross-functional teams to mature capabilities from low TRL to program of record, ensuring security-enabled solutions for customers.

You will interface with external customers, manage lifecycle activities, and drive program milestones in a fast-paced, security-focused environment in Cedar Rapids, IA. A SECRET clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with the systems development lifecycle, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification/validation, and transition to production.
• Experience operating as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Active and transferable SECRET clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cryptographic product development efforts within a cross-functional team.
• Interface with external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee systems development lifecycle activities from design to verification and qualification.
• Manage program schedule and cost performance for a medium-sized program and help develop the IMS.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to hit program milestones.
• Present data to customers and executive leadership.
