Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a project engineering lead in Baton Rouge to drive technical direction and coordinate design across disciplines. You will work with the PM team to manage budgets, schedules, and scope changes, while ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery of deliverables.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, 5+ years of experience, and thrives in a collaborative, high-stakes environment with rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering and/or PMP registration highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a project and support PM on cost, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Inform PM of all technical issues, decisions, and project problems.
• Coordinate with client on technical design issues and with PM team on execution.
• Manage engineering budgets, schedules, and scope changes; document changes as needed.
• Report engineering status weekly/monthly and forecast resources with discipline leads.
• Ensure multi-discipline deliverables, quality control, and proper transmittals.
• Lead inter-discipline coordination and ensure clash-free 3D model coordination.
