Job summary

Hargrove & Associates Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Baton Rouge, LA to provide technical leadership and support the Project Manager in controlling cost, schedule and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and internal teams, managing budgets, producing status reports, forecasting resources, and ensuring multi-discipline deliverables are completed on time. A PE and PMP are preferred and 5+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering and/or PMP registration is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
• Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inform the Hargrove Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems on the project.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues.
• Coordinate with PM team on execution issues and manage budgets/schedule.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports on engineering status and issues.
• Plan and forecast engineering resources with discipline leads.
• Lead inter-discipline coordination to resolve design issues.
• Ensure timely completion of multi-discipline deliverables.
