Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to own API Security and emerging AI/agent security capabilities. You will develop technical storytelling, run demos, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to drive market-ready launches and credible customer proof.

You will independently build deep product knowledge, translate complex capabilities into clear market narratives, and enable sellers with compelling assets and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant B2B technology experience including 4+ years in Product Marketing or Technical Product Marketing.
• Proven ability to own positioning, launches, field enablement, and adoption in cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure markets.
• Strong working knowledge of API Security concepts, API traffic flows, authentication/authorization, and deployment patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning, messaging, value propositions, buyer strategy, and go-to-market plans for API Security and AI/agent security capabilities.
• Lead product launches end-to-end from roadmap through market readiness and post-launch adoption.
• Develop deep product fluency via hands-on use of Akamai products, demos, and reference architectures.
