Job summary

Canvas, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to support the Air Force at Arnold AFB, AEDC. You will guide project execution, optimize workflows, and shape strategy to ensure mission objectives are met efficiently.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, preparing high-level briefs, and proactively mitigating risks to maintain uninterrupted mission support. Strong PM skills and security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Science or Engineering required; MS preferred.
• Experience guiding government project planning and execution.
• Ability to review lifecycles, schedules and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on project planning, resource allocation, and mission execution.
• Review project lifecycles, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Advise on best practices in project management and operational planning.
• Serve as liaison between cross-functional teams, leadership and external partners.
• Draft high-level briefs, memos, and reports for senior decision-makers.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Attend status meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Maintain documentation of project activities and decisions.
• Develop Independent Government Estimates (IGE).
