Job summary

Canvas seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to advise and assist the Air Force at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC). You will guide project execution, optimize workflows, and align cross-functional teams to meet mission objectives.

The role requires strategic planning, risk mitigation, and the ability to communicate with senior leadership; security clearance eligibility and strong collaboration with government stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Science or Engineering field with substitutions as described
• MS in Science or Engineering field or substitutions as described
• Security clearance eligibility: Secret DoD with active investigation, interim clearance allowed

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to government stakeholders on planning, resources, and mission execution.
• Review project lifecycles: schedules, milestones, and deliverables; monitor timelines.
• Advise on best practices in project management, planning, and continuous improvement.
• Act as liaison between cross-functional teams, leadership, and external partners.
• Draft and present high-level briefings, memos, and situational reports to senior decision-makers.
• Identify project risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.
• Develop Independent Government Estimates (IGE).
