Job summary

LMK Recruiting Solutions seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager in Los Angeles, onsite, to own the technical execution of complex residential design-build projects. You will guide high-end hillside work, coordinate with engineers and subs, and ensure build standards and margins.

You will lead client communications, manage pre-construction steps, and mentor field teams across multiple active jobs, traveling as needed in the greater LA area.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on experience in concrete, hillside, hardscape, and masonry with residential design-build focus.
• Deep knowledge of civil work (drainage, grading, excavation) and hillside construction (slope stability, walls).
• Ability to read and interpret structural, civil, and architectural drawings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Own technical execution of complex, high-end projects ($500k+ hillside and civil jobs) from sales handoff to final sign-off.
• Review sales handoffs, photos, and plans to eliminate gaps before mobilization.
• Identify and resolve constructability and drainage issues with clients, engineers, and sales teams.
• Set and maintain technical build standards (stucco, waterproofing, walls, hardscape bases).
• Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, civil engineers, inspectors, and permit expediters for alignment.
• Lead client communications across the project lifecycle and conduct pre-construction walkthroughs.
• Maintain real-time project status and protect gross margins through proper subcontractor buyouts.
