Job summary

Canvas is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to support Air Force program management efforts at the Arnold Engineering Development Center in Arnold AFB, TN. The role includes procurement support, contract administration assistance, and records management across multiple projects.

The position emphasizes mentoring, technical coordination, and collaboration with contracting, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely, compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• MS in Science or Engineering or substitutions as described below.
• Subject Matter Expert with exceptional/highly-unique expertise recognized in a given area

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train younger employees.
• Provide technical and engineering support including developing technical requirements for capital improvement efforts and procurements.
• Review and evaluate procurement packages for technical soundness and options.
• Provide procurement support with contracting, market research, and vendor research.
• Develop Independent Government Estimates (IGE) and Requests for Information (RFI).
• Provide contract administration support, tracking submittals, CLINs, invoicing, and deliverables.
