Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced Python development required.
• APIs, integrations, testing and automation; OO design best practices required.
• AWS Data Ops (ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, API, Kinesis) experience required.
• Data orchestration tools: Airflow or Astronomer, DAG development, DBT and Snowflake required.
• Experience in Institutional Investments, Asset Management or Financial Services preferred.
• Experience with event-driven and microservices architectures preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and data operations preferred.
• Experience with streaming technologies and real-time data processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of developers; oversees team quality, timelines, and risks.
• Provide technical leadership across the software lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers; conduct design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support activities.
• Build scalable, event-driven solutions using AWS services and modern patterns.
• Develop and maintain Python-based APIs, integrations, automation, platform capabilities.
• Analyze requirements, create technical designs, and deliver via Agile methods.
