Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks an experienced Python API Lead Developer to steer design, development, security, and deployment of enterprise-grade REST APIs in an AWS cloud environment.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Python/FastAPI, cloud-native API architecture, and modern API security standards, with hands-on AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and OpenAPI experience. Join a team dedicated to secure, scalable healthcare API solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience designing and building enterprise-grade REST APIs using Python.
Experience with cloud-native API architecture and API security best practices.
HIPAA-compliant environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Define and maintain API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS.
Deploy, manage, and secure APIs using AWS API Gateway and related AWS services.
Configure and support AWS security components including ACM, Private CA, WAF, and Shield.
Perform API testing, validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with healthcare security requirements, including HIPAA and secure handling of PHI.
Support CI/CD pipelines and source control best practices.
