Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Lead Python Developer to guide a development team, define standards, and deliver scalable Python solutions. You will architect cloud-based apps on AWS/GCP/Azure and collaborate with DevOps to sustain CI/CD pipelines and Docker environments.

You will oversee database design and SDLC processes in an Agile setting, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring on-time delivery of complex projects. Strong leadership and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python development experience.
• Demonstrated leadership background of 1+ year overseeing teams or projects.
• Strong foundation in at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
• Solid B2+ English proficiency in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach a development team, set coding standards, and enforce best practices.
• Build scalable, high-performing Python solutions with quality code.
• Architect and deploy cloud-based applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Collaborate with DevOps to sustain CI/CD pipelines and Docker environments.
