Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. is seeking an experienced API Tech Lead Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and cloud services. You will work with Python, AWS, REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices in an Agile setting.

Responsibilities include building serverless AWS solutions, implementing API security, and driving CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments. Collaboration with architects, stakeholders, and developers is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of API or software development experience.
• Strong hands-on Python experience.
• Experience designing/developing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Experience developing microservices and serverless apps.
• Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Proficiency with Git and modern dev practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable REST and SOAP APIs using Python.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications and services on AWS.
• Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Design and implement microservices architectures and distributed apps.
• Develop secure, reliable, high-performing APIs per enterprise standards.
• Implement API authentication, authorization, encryption, and security best practices.
• Integrate APIs with internal and external apps, services, data sources.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Use Git for source control, branching, code reviews, and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot API, integration, and production issues; support improvements.
• Work with developers, architects, stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
