Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) seeks a Managing Technical Consultant, Due Diligence, to guide technical assessments for mergers and acquisitions across the United States. You will advise on infrastructure investments, deliver risk/opportunity analyses, and lead client engagements with a focus on asset integrity and operational performance.

The role requires a Civil/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering background, 4+ years in technical consulting, and strong report-writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in technical consulting, engineering, or operational roles in energy/infrastructure.
• Strong ability to identify risks/opportunities in technical documentation and site visits.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large, complex projects and deliverables across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.
• Develop technical proposals and lead delivery of technical due diligence assessments.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and ensure high-quality project outcomes.
• Collaborate across ERM's global network of experts to support project delivery.
