Job summary

Catalyst Brands LLC seeks a Senior Technical Designer to lead the technical design process, ensuring correct fit, quality and design interpretation for production. You will collaborate closely with Design, Product Development, Sourcing and factories, managing tech packs and fit sessions to drive consistency across products.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, live-fit presentation skills and the ability to manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Technical Design experience required.
• Knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking and manufacturing process.
• Proficiency in Flex PLM, Illustrator, Photoshop, Web PDM, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage garment fit process with live model/mannequin sessions and grading revisions.
• Create, maintain and manage tech packs with measurements, tolerances, grading, fit photos and construction details in Flex PLM.
• Collaborate with Design, Sourcing and Merchandising to align fit intent and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with factories and IBO to resolve fit and construction issues within timelines.
• Mentor junior designers on technical issues and fit processes.
