Job summary

24 Seven Talent seeks an Associate Apparel Fit Tech to support development of innovative apparel collections. You’ll handle fit, specs, tech packs, and construction documentation from concept through commercialization.

You will collaborate with Design, Product Management, Development, Sourcing, Production, and overseas vendors/factories to ensure products meet standards for fit, functionality, protection, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Technical Design, Pattern Making or Product Development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Product Development or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, pattern making & grading.
  • Experience creating Tech Packs, technical flats, specs & construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator + Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication & cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • PLM experience is a plus.
  • Experience with performance, motorsports, outdoor, athletic or technical apparel is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create & maintain detailed Tech Packs, specs, grading, measurements & technical sketches
  • Conduct fit sessions and document fit comments, pattern corrections & construction updates
  • Review prototypes, salesman samples & production samples
  • Partner directly with vendors & factories to ensure accurate execution
  • Create technical flats & construction documentation using Adobe Illustrator
  • Track development milestones & maintain technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot fit, construction, manufacturing & performance issues
  • Ensure product meets required quality, safety & performance standards
  • Partner cross-functional throughout the product development lifecycle

This is a hands-on technical role supporting fit, garment construction, specs, tech packs, fittings, and product development from initial concept through commercialization. You’ll work cross-functionally with Design, Product Management, Development, Sourcing, Production, and overseas vendors/factories to ensure products meet standards for fit, functionality, protection, quality, and performance.
