Job summary

Manière De Voir in New York is seeking a seasoned Technical Designer to manage the garment fit from 1st to TOP FIT, ensuring alignment with design intent and brand standards under the direction of the Technical Design Managers.

The role requires expertise in fit, construction, and specs, with cross-functional collaboration across Design, Production, Merchandising, Logistics, and Sales. You will work with overseas vendors to meet calendars and production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Patternmaking or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Technical Design.
• Proficiency in garment fit, construction, and specs.
• Experience communicating with overseas vendors/partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist production team to develop clear tech packs with measurement worksheets and construction images.
• Manage designated styles from 1st FIT to TOP FIT and update tech packs accordingly.
• Accurately measure garments before fittings and participate in fit sessions.
• Update tech packs with construction callouts, specs, BOMs, and label pages for vendors.
