Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions seeks a skilled Technical Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor, defining client needs and delivering comprehensive delivery plans from discovery to final deployment. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services Engineering to architect and implement complex architectures for multiple clients.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, advanced networking, and experience across LAN/WAN, cloud (Azure), and security solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years deploying or maintaining infrastructure for 300+ users.
• 5+ years in an IT professional services role.
• BA or BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced writing skills.
• Proficient in delivering proposed solution presentations to prospects and customers.
• Proficiency with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Advanced to expert industry certification for the designated subject matter domain/discipline.
• Experience designing, installing, and supporting solutions in multiple environments for multiple clients.
• Proven network analysis and diagnostic skills; ability to implement quick, effective solutions to network problems.
• Strong proficiency in configuring, deploying and troubleshooting networking services (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, VIPs, ACLs, Routing, Switching).
• Consultative approach to understand prospect and customer objectives; present and explain solutions.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, MS Windows-based server infrastructure and storage, cloud technologies (private and Azure), and security solutions; emerging technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; train delivery resources; provide technical leadership.
• Maintains strong IT engineering skills; implements complex technology projects; works in fast-paced sales environments.
• Pays attention to detail; develops high-quality managed/professional services proposals and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provides business technology strategy and solutions sales support.
• Consults with prospects to understand objectives and identify appropriate technologies.
• Writes detailed Statements of Work capturing objectives, technical solutions, effort, hardware/software, timelines.
• Leads technical discovery sessions and assessments.
• Plans, designs, and implements high-value technology solutions.
• Serves as technical lead on active engagements; designs solutions for clients.
