The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Technical Consultant, Casualty Claims, to manage high-complexity no-fault claims with advanced investigative and negotiation skills. The role collaborates with legal counsel, SIU, and medical experts to resolve claims efficiently, while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining sensitive data integrity.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with two days in the office across Howell, Farmington Hills, Southfield, MI, and opportunities to mentor

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience; relevant designation preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills for high-exposure claims.
• Clear written and verbal communication; professional handling of sensitive issues.
• Organized with ability to manage complex workflows and mentor others.
• Deep insurance knowledge with regulatory framework understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate moderate to complex and sensitive claims with thorough analysis.
• Collaborate with experts to evaluate claims, determine validity and value.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and pursue risk transfer.
• Manage reserves and oversee litigation budgets and counsel.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and drive consensus on resolutions.
• Mentor junior adjusters and provide technical guidance.
• Represent the company in litigation forums including trials and mediations.
