Job summary

Appnovation in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Technical Architect (Director level) to lead the division’s technical strategy and target architecture. You will shape the technical direction, bridge architecture and delivery, and partner with senior leaders to translate priorities into actionable roadmaps while embedding with delivery teams to ensure executable outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Deep hands-on technical expertise in modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, data and integration patterns, APIs, security, and reliability.
Experience acting as a technical advisor or design authority, guiding teams through influence rather than authority.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain the divisional technology strategy and target-state architecture.
Own the division’s technical landscape and define standards, integration patterns, and reference architectures.
Represent the division in Architecture Review Board and ensure solutions align to enterprise standards and security expectations.
Partner with business and Digital leaders to translate priorities into measurable technical outcomes.
Provide mentorship to engineering teams and drive reliability, governance, and operational excellence.
