Job summary

Appnovation Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to lead the technical strategy and oversee the architecture for a global division. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, embedding within delivery teams to navigate complex challenges and drive reusable digital capabilities.

You will guide senior business and Digital leaders, ensure alignment with enterprise standards, and mentor engineering teams to raise the bar on reliability, security, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field required.
• Experience defining the technical strategy, architecture, or technical landscape for a significant business area.
• Hands-on expertise in modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, data integration, APIs, security and reliability.
• Experience acting as a technical advisor or design authority, guiding teams through influence.
• Experience partnering with business and Digital stakeholders to shape technical direction and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the division's technical strategy and target-state architecture.
• Own and oversee the division’s technical landscape and reference architectures.
• Represent the division in the Architecture Review Board and approve or reject architecture requests.
• Map divisional technology needs to enterprise platforms and standards.
• Establish reusable patterns and delivery efficiencies across divisions and platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Define how AI, automation, and modern engineering are applied responsibly.
