Job summary

Appnovation seeks a Principal Technical Architect (Senior Director level) to own the technical strategy and architecture for a key digital platform. You will translate business needs into an actionable target-state architecture and guide cross-functional engineering teams globally.

You will define standards, risk trade-offs and capital investments while partnering with senior leaders to deliver secure, scalable and reusable digital capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field with senior leadership experience.
• Proven ownership of technical strategy and architecture for a significant platform or domain.
• Led and developed engineering teams including architects and leads.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud, data integration, APIs, security and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own platform technical strategy linking business priorities to enterprise standards.
• Serve as design authority defining target architecture and key standards.
• Lead engineering teams to build and operate secure, scalable platforms.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate needs into measurable outcomes.
• Define AI-enabled delivery and governance practices for faster delivery.
• Build a high-performing engineering culture with credibility and collaboration.
• Ensure reliability, security, documentation and governance at global scale.
