Job summary

Appnovation seeks a Principal Technical Architect (Senior Director level) to lead the technical strategy and architecture for a major digital platform. You will translate business priorities into a clear target architecture and guide engineering teams to deliver scalable and reusable capabilities.

As a senior leader, you will establish standards, governance, and secure design practices, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive value at global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; senior engineering leadership experience.
• Experience owning the technical strategy and architecture of a significant platform or technology domain.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams including engineers, architects, and tech leads.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for the platform and map business priorities to architecture and standards.
• Serve as design authority for target architecture, standards, and integration patterns.
• Lead and develop the engineering team building and operating the platform.
• Partner with senior business and digital stakeholders to translate needs into technical decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Define how AI, automation, and modern engineering practices are applied to accelerate delivery while maintaining governance.
