Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Senior Manager to lead complex accounting matters and build scalable processes for a fast-growing SaaS company. The role is based in Denver with a hybrid model, combining two in-office days with remote work.

You will drive external reporting readiness, collaborate across Accounting Operations, Engineering, and Legal, and mentor the team on evolving standards and internal controls. CPA preferred and 7+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA license required.
• 7+ years of combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate accounting at a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
• Demonstrated technical accounting expertise and experience drafting memos on complex, non-routine transactions.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks (SOX).
• Experience with external reporting, audit, or regulatory complexity.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and document technical accounting issues and memos and prepare calculations to support accounting conclusions and external audits.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures; lead implementation of significant changes.
• Collaborate with teams to operationalize guidance across departments.
• Support external reporting readiness, including complex accounting topics and disclosures.
• Help design and implement SOX-compliant accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with external auditors and consultants to ensure timely conclusions.
• Provide training and mentorship on technical accounting topics.
