Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Technical Accounting Senior Manager to lead US GAAP reporting, SOX controls, and memo drafting for a fast-growing SaaS company. You will partner with Accounting Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and HR to build scalable processes and strengthen internal controls.

Based in Oakland with a hybrid schedule, the role includes working with external auditors on key accounting matters, 409A/equity valuations, and driving authoritative guidance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA license required; 7+ years in accounting roles.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and SOX controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead US GAAP reporting and technical accounting matters.
• Draft memos for complex, non-routine transactions.
• Manage external audit processes and 409A/equity valuations.
• Develop accounting policies and implement changes.
• Collaborate with Accounting Ops, Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR.
• Improve external reporting readiness and internal controls.
