Job summary

Akamai Enterprise Security Group is seeking a Technical Account Manager II to lead large deployments, cultivate strong customer relationships, and drive success for Zero Trust, WAF, anti-DDoS, and Bot Management products.

You will coordinate with Support and Engineering to ensure scalable and secure outcomes across customer environments, guiding deployments, configurations, and integrations with third-party solutions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, solutions engineer, solutions architect)
• Experience with microsegmentation platforms, EDR, or Zero Trust products
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of networking, security, and operating systems (Linux/Windows)

Responsibilities

• Being the focal point for technical vendor related issues in front of the customer
• Providing product best practice and design guidance to enhance technical and business outcomes, overseeing scale and performance over time
• Working closely with Support and Engineering teams to quickly resolve issues and drive customer satisfaction
• Assisting with deployment, configuration and customization of the platform while adapting to changes in the Customer's environment
• Supporting integration requirements between Akamai Zero Trust solutions and other 3rd party solutions
• Briefing the customer on upcoming features and updates, and provide training in cooperation with Guardicore training team
