Job summary

EDB is hiring a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the US. The Senior TAM builds and maintains post-sales relationships with large, complex customers adopting Postgres and AI solutions. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor and primary contact across technical areas of EDB, guiding architecture, troubleshooting, and solution delivery.

You will influence customer outcomes, document best practices, and provide product feedback. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Six+ years hands-on with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server.
• Deep technical skills in data management platforms, OS, cloud tech, architecture.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical and project management abilities.
• Strong understanding of strategic sales processes.
• Excellent communication with CxO-level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Establish a close working relationship with the customer’s senior technical leadership and become trusted advisor.
• Help EDB customers maximize the value of their Postgres investment.
• Assist customers to develop and deploy Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (consulting, architecture, PM).
• Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the EDB product line.
• Offer clear product feedback to product management based on customer needs.
• Document best practices for deploying EDB solutions.
• Serve as front-line technical resource for best practices and questions.
• Travel up to 25% of the time as required.
