Job summary

EDB is hiring a Principal Technical Account Manager (TAM) for US. You will build and maintain post‑sales relationships with EDB’s largest customers as a trusted technical advisor and primary contact for technical matters.

You will drive successful outcomes, guide Postgres initiatives, and provide architecture leadership while remaining current on EDB products. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of hands-on experience with Postgres or major relational DBs.
• Advanced skills in data management platforms, OS, cloud technologies, and architecture.
• Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong communication with CxO level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Establish close relationship with the customer’s senior technical leadership and become trusted advisor.
• Help customers maximize value of their Postgres investment.
• Assist customers to develop and deploy Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives including architecture guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of EDB product line.
• Give product feedback to product management based on customer requirements.
• Document best practices for deploying EDB solutions.
• Serve as front-line technical resource for best practices and questions.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
