Job summary

EDB is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the US market. You will build and maintain post-sales relationships with top customers, serving as the trusted technical advisor across Postgres and AI initiatives.

You will guide architecture, troubleshoot issues, and drive successful outcomes while ensuring customers become references for EDB. This role requires strong communication with CxO-level personnel and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in data management platforms, operating systems and cloud tech.
• Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
• Good understanding of strategic sales processes.
• Excellent communication with CxO level personnel.
• Bachelor's/Master's in IT/CS or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish a close working relationship with the customer's senior technical leadership and act as trusted advisor.
• Help customers maximize value of their Postgres investment.
• Assist customers to develop and deploy Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (solutions consulting, architecture, and project management).
• Maintain current functional/technical knowledge of EDB product line.
• Provide product feedback to product management based on customer requirements.
• Document best practices for deploying EDB solutions.
• Serve as front-line technical resource for best practices and inquiries.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
