Job summary

EDB is hiring a Senior Technical Account Manager for the US. The Senior TAM builds and maintains post-sales relationships with large customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor and primary contact into all technical areas of EDB.

You will help customers maximize Postgres value, guide deployments, and provide leadership across initiatives while maintaining broad product knowledge. Up to 25% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server; relational DB certs desirable.
• Advanced technical skills in data management, OS, cloud technologies, and architecture.
• Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Establish a trusted advisor relationship with senior technical leadership.
• Help customers maximize Postgres value and deploy Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives and projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EDB product lines.
• Give clear product feedback to PM teams from customer needs.
• Document best practices for deploying EDB solutions.
• Act as front-line technical resource for best practices and ad-hoc questions.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
