Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Technical Account Manager for the Enterprise Support team in Arlington, VA. The TAM will act as the principal technical advisor, guiding customers from startups to Fortune 500s through adoption of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda and more.

Responsibilities include shaping strategies, engaging with senior leadership, and ensuring operational health while traveling ~10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Candidates must meet GovCloud access requirements, including US citizenship and background checks.

Responsibilities

• TAM role focuses on being the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer, not hands-on troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineers/service teams to drive adoption and use of AWS services.
• Communicate strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
