Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a seasoned Manager III, Workforce Management to lead third-party resource planning and enterprise-wide optimization within Technology. You will partner with Finance, HR, and Tech leaders to align talent with strategic priorities and budgets.

Based in Salisbury, NC with a hybrid schedule of 3 in-person days and 2 remote days, the role requires 10+ years in workforce planning and strong data-driven decision abilities in a large tech organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in workforce planning, resource management, vendor/third party management, or technology operations.
• Experience leading workforce planning in a large technology organization.
• Understanding of Agile, DevOps, product-centric delivery and their workforce implications.
• Ability to interpret workforce and financial data to inform strategic decisions.
• Strong communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and build cross functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate sourcing mix between full-time staff, contractors, and consulting services.
• Partner with Procurement and Vendor Management to optimize cost and contract compliance.
• Lead multi-year technology workforce planning in partnership with Technology, Finance, and HR.
• Forecast workforce demand and supply across skills, teams, and platforms.
• Identify talent gaps and resourcing risks; provide data driven recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support organizational design changes through workforce modeling and analytics.
• Oversee resource allocation to maximize utilization of internal and external talent.
• Lead workforce optimization initiatives to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Establish capacity planning models, reporting, and tools for decision making.
• Monitor utilization trends and skills inventories to influence staffing strategies.
• Align workforce plans with enterprise strategy and portfolio priorities.
