The Hartford in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Underwriter to lead Middle and Large Commercial technology risks. You’ll build strong relationships with agents, apply underwriting guidelines, and drive the sales and underwriting process in a collaborative environment.

Hybrid work arrangement; office presence three days a week. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of P&C Middle Market or technology carrier underwriting experience; strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 3+ years of P&C Middle Market or Technology Carrier production underwriting experience is required; E&O underwriting experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining solid relationships with all internal and external business partners.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and Underwrites a Middle Market Technology book of business
• Analyzes agency book on quarter-to-quarter basis for potential action
• Expertly applies all applicable Underwriting guidelines when making decisions
• Capable of underwriting highly complex business with limited senior support
• Has thorough knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and governance
• Agency Management including strategy execution for new/renewal accounts
• Acts as a trusted advisor and solution provider to Brokers and Agents
