Qualifications

• 5+ years of P&C commercial carrier underwriting experience; Builders Risk underwriting experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• An ability to think analytically about business problems, make recommendations and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build exceptionally strong and lasting relationships with agents and brokers to position The Hartford as the carrier of choice.
• Manage the sales process from strategic planning to operational execution and account stewardship.
• Develop cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the team.
• Travel approximately 25% - 35% to meet with partners and clients.
