Job summary

Pendo is seeking a Sr. Professional Services Engineer Consultant to own the design and delivery of complex technical engagements, aligning product, data, and engineering through custom integrations, data pipelines, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions.

This role is based in Raleigh, San Francisco or remote, and you will lead end-to-end projects, architect data solutions, mentor teammates, and drive measurable customer outcomes that accelerate time to value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a customer-facing technical role within B2B SaaS.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Python, or Node.js with production-grade code.
• Deep experience with APIs, data pipelines, ETL, and data modeling.
• SQL proficiency and data modeling expertise.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into business value for stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical transformation initiatives and data infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and scope engagements; author Statements of Work that are delivery-ready.
• Design and build integrations and data solutions; write production-quality code and APIs.
• Own multiple complex projects end-to-end, including data engineering and system integration.
• Advise customers on data architecture and integration patterns; support analytics use cases.
• Build reusable code libraries, frameworks, and integration patterns for scale.
• Share field intelligence with Product and cross-functional teams to inform strategy.
