EvolutionIQ is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner to lead end-to-end hiring for complex Engineering and AI roles. This onsite role in New York, NY focuses on proactive sourcing, close collaboration with Engineering leaders, and analytics-driven improvements to technical recruiting outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting with a strong track record in Software Engineering and AI/ML recruitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including direct ownership of Software Engineering and other technical searches at the mid-to-senior level.
• Proven success hiring Senior Software Engineers and related Engineering talent; experience recruiting AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, or similarly specialized roles is strongly preferred.
• Advanced hands-on technical sourcing experience, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, talent mapping, and proactive outreach to passive candidates.
• Ability to discuss technical profiles credibly with Engineering leaders, understand common software development and AI/ML concepts, and translate requirements into an effective recruiting strategy.
• Strong consultative, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience managing multiple high-priority technical searches.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle searches for Engineering and AI teams and partner with hiring managers to translate requirements into candidate profiles and interview plans.
• Lead recruiter screens evaluating technical experience, projects, problem-solving, motivation, and role fit.
• Proactively manage complex searches, bottlenecks, and high-priority processes to maintain momentum.
• Design strategies for difficult roles using talent mapping, market insights, and sourcing data.
• Advise leaders on candidate availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize openings and refine candidate profiles based on market feedback.
• Use pipeline data and interview feedback to adjust sourcing and hiring strategies.
• Source and engage passive talent via LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Boolean/X-ray, and AI-enabled tools.
• Build credibility with candidates by conveying engineering challenges, product impact, and growth opportunities.
• Develop talent pipelines for Software Engineering, AI/ML, and emerging tech skills.
