Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager for Computer Vision to shape the strategy and roadmaps of our CV Platform. You will partner with product leaders to define requirements, drive platform adoption, and own the lifecycle of core CV models and AI infrastructure.

You will collaborate across teams, translate ambiguous concepts into scalable outcomes, and define success metrics to deliver measurable customer value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience in platform products, AI/ML, or complex, cross‑functional technical domains.
• 3+ years hands-on experience building ML models, production ML pipelines, computer vision algorithms, or ML/data‑oriented software.
• Deep understanding of computer vision, ML lifecycle (MLOps), data platforms, and AI infrastructure.
• Experience defining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and metrics frameworks (KPIs/OKRs).
• Strong analytical skills with AI performance metrics, real-time video processing, and inference optimization.
• Leadership at a Principal level with cross‑organizational influence and clear communication.
• Customer-focused with discovery experience to understand internal/external needs.
• Domain knowledge in video analytics for security/retail/manufacturing is a plus.
• Pathfinding: turning ambiguous concepts into concrete product concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategy, definition, and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Manage internal partner alignment and drive platform requirements adoption.
• Produce MRDs/PRDs and user stories for platform capabilities and CV products.
• Own lifecycle of central CV models and foundational AI infrastructure.
• Define and track metrics to measure platform adoption, performance, and customer value.
• Conduct market research and customer discovery to identify opportunities and inform build-versus-buy decisions.
