Job summary
Obsidian Security is seeking a Sr Technical Marketing Manager – Alliances & Competitive Strategy to own two high-impact narratives: partner-enabled GTM and competitive positioning. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and sales to shape joint value propositions and drive enablement across alliances and field teams.
The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity or enterprise software marketing, a hands-on approach, and the ability to deliver technical content such as architecture
Qualifications
- 8+ years in product, technical, or partner marketing in cybersecurity or enterprise software.
- A competitive strategist with experience building compete programs.
- Experience in technology alliance marketing and co-sell motions.
Responsibilities
- Own the Alliance Narrative: develop joint positioning, messaging, and better-together value propositions with strategic technology alliances.
- Lead product marketing for joint launches, co-marketing campaigns, and alliance field moments across teams.
- Own Competitive Intelligence: build and maintain the compete program, win/loss insights, and battlecards for sales and leadership.
- Develop technical marketing content (architecture narratives, briefs, blogs, webinars, demos) to prove differentiation.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate platform architecture into durable “why” for buyers and partners.
