Job summary

Google Search Verticals team seeks an experienced Tech Lead Manager to lead teams building user experiences powered by agentic LLM capabilities. You will develop a system supporting long-duration tasks with iterative planning and low-latency execution engines.

You will grow and foster a team of engineers and leads, set quarterly goals, balance platform investments with product deadlines, and ensure predictable delivery across multiple sites internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience with systems architecture.
• 7 years leading technical project strategy, ML design, and ML infra.
• 5 years in people management or team leadership.
• Experience in agentic AI systems and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale resilient runtime engines for long-running loops and multi-agent collaboration.
• Lead development of low-latency action pipelines, including zero-shot tool selection and API integration.
• Provide design reviews and technical contributions beyond management duties.
• Establish verification and evaluation suites to ensure safe, accurate agent actions.
• Hire, mentor, and manage Software Engineers and Tech Leads, aligning quarterly goals.
