Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Tech Lead Manager to guide architectural direction and delivery for agentic AI platforms in a hybrid leadership role. You will steer real‑time reasoning, memory and retrieval components, and cross‑functional collaboration across Product, Research, and Design.

You will mentor a small team of engineers, balance hands‑on work with management, and help scale production systems while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in shipping complex, large‑scale systems.
• Strong background in AI/ML platforms, LLMs, or agentic architectures preferred.
• Foundations in scaling distributed systems and production‑grade infra.
• Ability to coach engineers, set priorities, and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and execution for a meaningful area of the agentic AI platform.
• Contribute hands‑on when needed to unblock the team and ensure a high technical bar.
• Build scalable AI systems for real‑time reasoning and secure tool execution.
• Grow a small team through coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Applied Research to align with strategy.
• Establish engineering best practices and safety standards for AI systems.
