Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex, technology-driven initiatives from planning to delivery, including governance, budgeting, and cross-team coordination.

The role requires strong Agile oversight, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate technical delivery into executive updates. The hybrid-flex environment supports remote work with in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital technology initiatives by developing and managing integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and release timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Agile teams, engineering, product, business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Maintain technical and product knowledge to anticipate delivery risks, support tradeoff discussions, and help resolve blockers and dependencies.
• Identify, assess, track, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
