Cardinal Health is seeking a highly experienced Principal, Technology Architect (Application Development & Maintenance) to lead enterprise integrations for the DME Diabetes business. This remote, nationwide role partners with stakeholders to outline roadmaps, ensure scalable and secure solutions, and maintain alignment with enterprise standards.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in IT leadership, expertise in large-scale integrations, cloud-native/hybrid architectures, and hands-on Salesforce

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience in Solutions/Enterprise Architecture within DME or healthcare.
• Proven experience architecting large-scale enterprise platforms and complex integrations.
• Experience with cloud-native and hybrid architectures using API-led connectivity and event-driven patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise integration technologies and customer-facing digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
• Design API-first integration strategies using modern patterns and microservices.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures for onboarding, orders, billing, and engagement.
• Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to standardize services and data exchange.
• Define system resiliency, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
