Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Principal, Technology Architect (Application Development & Maintenance) to lead integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.

You will design API-first, event-driven, scalable solutions and partner with security teams to meet healthcare regulatory standards. This role is fully remote, nationwide, and requires 12+ years of IT and architecture leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience in architecture leadership, preferably in DME/healthcare.
• Experience architecting large-scale, enterprise platforms and complex integrations.
• Experience with cloud-native and hybrid architectures, API-led connectivity, and event-driven patterns.
• Hands-on with Salesforce platforms and enterprise integration tech.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
• Design API-first integration strategies using modern patterns and microservices.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures for customer acquisition, onboarding, order fulfillment, billing, and engagement.
• Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to establish reusable services, APIs, and data exchange standards.
• Define system resiliency, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and healthcare regulations.
