Cardinal Health seeks a Principal Technology Architect (Application Development & Maintenance) to lead scalable, secure solutions for the DME Diabetes business. This fully remote, nationwide role emphasizes architectural leadership and roadmapping.

Design API-first integrations, microservices, and event-driven patterns to support onboarding, billing, and analytics across platforms. Ideal candidates have 12+ years in IT, enterprise architecture leadership, Salesforce experience, and healthcare

Qualifications

12+ years IT experience in solutions/enterprise architecture roles in healthcare or DME preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
Design API-first integration strategies utilizing modern patterns, event-driven architectures, and microservices where appropriate.
Develop end-to-end solution architectures supporting customer onboarding, order fulfillment, billing, customer service, and ongoing patient engagement.
Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to establish reusable services, APIs, and data exchange standards.
Define system resiliency, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery requirements across the platform landscape.
Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with Cardinal Health security standards and healthcare regulatory requirements.
