Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Principal Technology Architect to lead scalable, secure integration across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, and analytics. You will partner with business stakeholders, product teams and enterprise architecture to align roadmaps with enterprise standards and keep solutions stable.

Remote, nationwide role requiring 12+ years in IT architecture, cloud-native/hybrid designs, API-led connectivity, and Salesforce experience. A bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• IT architecture leadership in a large enterprise, preferably in DME/healthcare.
• Experience architecting large-scale platforms and complex integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid architectures with API-led patterns.
• Understanding of data security, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Salesforce and enterprise integration technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee integrations across DME, Pharmacy, CRM, ERP, fulfillment, billing, payer, customer service, and analytics platforms.
• Design API-first integration strategies utilizing modern integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and microservices where appropriate.
• Develop end-to-end solution architectures supporting customer acquisition, patient onboarding, order fulfillment, billing, customer service, and ongoing patient engagement.
• Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to establish reusable services, APIs, and data exchange standards.
• Define system resiliency, performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery requirements across the platform landscape.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with Cardinal Health security standards and healthcare regulatory requirements.
