Job summary

Thomson Reuters in the United States is seeking a Senior Consultant for ONESOURCE Direct Tax implementations on the Professional Services team. You'll contribute hands-on to configuration, delivery, and automation.

You'll work with AI tools and Power Automate, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and build reusable automation to improve efficiency.

Requires 5+ years in professional services or tax tech, familiarity with ONESOURCE Direct Tax and ASC 740, plus strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional services, corporate tax, public accounting, or tax technology.
• Working familiarity with ONESOURCE Direct Tax.
• Solid knowledge of ASC 740 tax provision processes.
• Hands-on experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax, ONESOURCE Workpapers, Data Import, or DataFlow ONESOURCE APIs Power Automate, Alteryx, KNIME (or similar) for automation Power BI or similar dashboards Advanced Excel (Power Query, dynamic arrays, Data Validation, etc.)
• Curiosity and demonstrated initiative using AI tools in your work.
• Bachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the configuration, implementation, and delivery of ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions
• Support customer engagements by gathering requirements, documenting designs, and delivering assigned work on time
• Build quick proofs-of-concept and automations that show customers what’s possible
• Use AI and automation tools to create reusable tools and processes that improve efficiency
• Support Best Practice Reviews and help identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Technology partners
• Manage multiple workstreams and priorities concurrently
• Build strong customer relationships and be a dependable point of contact
• Keep learning and share what you learn with the team
