Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a seasoned ONESOURCE Direct Tax specialist in the United States (Minnesota/Eagan area) to drive complex tax-automation projects. You will work directly with AI tools, Power Automate, and other next-gen technologies to design and deliver customer solutions.

You will lead engagements, scope and manage delivery, and mentor colleagues while expanding our tax-automation footprint across clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional services or similar, implementing ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions.
• Hands-on experience using AI to build customer solutions (e.g., Claude).
• Expert-level knowledge in ASC 740 tax provision processes and ONESOURCE modules.
• Bachelor's degree in taxation, accounting, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to scope projects.
• Lead customer engagements, design solutions, and manage scope, timeline, and delivery.
• Conduct customer-facing Best Practice Reviews, present recommendations, and scope remediation.
• Build quick proofs-of-concept that show customers the future state.
• Use AI to develop repeatable tools, processes, and practices that improve efficiency and profitability.
• Drive expansion opportunities.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for clients.
• Share best practices and informally mentor colleagues.
