Thomson Reuters (Tax & Accounting) Inc in Frisco, TX seeks a senior ONESOURCE Direct Tax expert to contribute individually, work directly with AI and Power Automate, and build customer solutions from day one. You will partner with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to scope projects and lead engagements, delivering design, scope, and timelines.

The role requires hands-on mastery of ONESOURCE Tax Provision/Income Tax, DataFlow, APIs, Power BI, and advanced Excel, with a focus on scalable

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional services implementing ONESOURCE Direct Tax solutions.
• Hands-on experience using AI (Claude) to build customer solutions.
• Expert-level knowledge in implementing: ASC 740 tax provision processes ONESOURCE Tax Provision (or ONESOURCE Income Tax), Workpapers, and Data Import ONESOURCE DataFlow ONESOURCE APIs Power Automate, Alteryx, KNIME (or similar) for ONESOURCE and tax-centric automations Power BI or similar API-enabled dashboards Advanced Excel-based tax workbooks (Power Query, OData connections, dynamic arrays, Data Validation, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills

Responsabilités

• Scope projects with Product, Sales, and Customer teams.
• Lead customer engagements, design solutions, and manage scope, timeline, and delivery.
• Conduct customer-facing Best Practice Reviews, present recommendations, and scope remediation.
• Build quick proofs-of-concept that show customers the future state.
• Use AI to develop repeatable tools, processes, and practices that improve efficiency and profitability.
• Drive expansion opportunities.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for clients.
• Share best practices and informally mentor colleagues.
