Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience, required
• Prior supervisory experience, required
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or EA (or equivalent) required
• Ability to develop and manage a team of tax professionals and act as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues
• Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills; excellent communication and delegation abilities

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the tax implications of business objectives and strategies
• Evaluate and propose actions to minimize tax burden and cost of compliance
• Lead planning, budgeting and staffing for tax engagements
• Review tax provisions and ASC 740/FIN 48 compliance; discuss complex issues with clients
• Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in business development
