Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications of business objections, evaluate actions to reduce tax burden, and serve as the primary contact for complex tax issues. This role requires applying tax knowledge to identify risks and communicate changes in tax policy, while actively participating in leadership, marketing and business development within the tax practice.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience preferred.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills; executive presence to act as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates and senior associates on all projects.
• Reviews work prepared by associates and senior associates and provides review comments.
• Trains associates and seniors on how to use current software tools.
• Acts as a Career Advisor to associates and senior associates.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics

Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation
