Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications, evaluate actions to reduce burden, and lead complex tax issues. The role requires strong leadership, client management, and strategic tax planning within a regional leadership context.

You will drive research, supervise staff, and collaborate with specialists to resolve tax questions and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of tax experience in public accounting, industry, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of ASC 740, FIN 48, and tax provisions.
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance and client communications with focus on efficiency.
• Research complex tax issues and frame issues for analysis.
• Apply ASC 740 and related firm standards to tax provisions.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to reduce client taxes and risk.
• Lead client relationships and act as primary contact for complex questions.
